Name: Jei
Gender: Male
Race: Lion

Physical Characteristics

Eyes: one Yellow(right), one Red(left)
Fur: Dusty Cream with slightly lighter areas on toes and belly, as well as lower mane and part of bangs, Mane, tail tuft, and eye patches are a dark red.
Age: Young Adult (22 ish)
Build: Thin, lanky, but all muscle.
Unique Markings/Scars: The dark patches around his eyes extend all the way to his ears. Right ear is all but gone. Patchy mane. Tiny nicks all over his body, some larger than other, and others still that mark him as exiled, one running acriss his face, between his eyes, four showing through his mane on his neck, and one along his back, crossing from shoulder to hip.

Personal Characteristics

Place of Origin: Past the outlands.
Strengths: Does not feel pain. Agile, with hidden strength. Knows how to 'hit where it hurts'.
Weaknesses: ...lacing in the sanity department. Like...a lot.
Personality: He is mentally unbalanced. Snide, sarcastic remarks can quickly turn into moments of introspection(deep thought, lol), and then into voilent outburst drivin by his facination with the pain felt by others. Deep deep inside, however, is the cub that never grew up.

History: It was found at an early age this cub could not feel pain. Shunned by most of his pride because of this strange attribute, he grew up almost alone, except for his adoptive mother. At this point, he did not care, happy to play by himself under the watchful eye of the kind Lioness. It was later, after the birth of the heir that he realised something was amiss. This cub looked remarkably like him, down to the different colored eyes. It wasn't long before he understood that his own mother had abandoned him, and that HE should be the rightful heir. Against the wishes of his adopted mother, he went to his 'father' and challenged his legitamacy...

And that is where things took a turn for the worse. The pride leader was enraged, thinking the kind lioness had told him the truth in order to gain power, and turned on her. There was a fight, and a younger Jei watched on as his surrogate mother was murdered by his own father. Now, this had been an accident, but had happened none the less.

It went from bad to worse as Jei snapped, his mind, in it's fragile state in leu of recent discoveries, just let go, his 'humanity' sinking into darkness in the back of his mind as he attacked their leader head on.

It was a bloody fight, but both walked away. Jei, exiled on penalty of death should he return, the leader with a new array of scars all his own.

Now he wanders, lost in his own maddness, and waiting for his chance at revenge.


*Side note: Original comcept based on Farfarello/Jei from Weiss Kreuz, but tweaked and altered a bit to suit the TKL world....also...I LOVE how this developed X3*
